Humble Yourself

Jas 4:6  But he giueth more grace, wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proude, but giueth grace vnto the humble.

Jas 4:7  Submit your selues therefore to God: resist the deuill, and hee will flee from you.

Jas 4:8  Draw nigh to God, and hee will draw nigh to you: cleanse your hands ye sinners, and purifie your hearts yee double minded.

Jas 4:9  Bee afflicted, and mourne, and weepe: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your ioy to heauinesse.

Jas 4:10  Humble your selues in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you vp.

Mat 17:21  Howbeit, this kind goeth not out, but by prayer and fasting.

Psa 69:10  When I wept, and chastened my soule with fasting, that was to my reproch.

Psa 69:11  I made sackecloth also my garment: & I became a prouerbe to them.

Psa 102:10  Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me vp, and cast me downe.

Psa 102:11  My dayes are like a shadow, that declineth: & I am withered like grasse.

Psa 102:12  But thou, O Lord, shalt endure for euer: and thy remembrance vnto all generations.

Deu 8:3  And he humbled thee, and suffred thee to hunger, and fed thee with Manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know: that he might make thee know, that man doth not liue by bread onely, but by euery word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man liue.

Mat 4:2  And when hee had fasted forty dayes and forty nights, hee was afterward an hungred.

Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, hee said, If thou be the sonne of God, command that these stones bee made bread.

Mat 4:4  But he answered, and said, It is written, Man shall not liue by bread alone, but by euery word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
