~~~~ Most everyone realizes now there is great trouble ahead in this Nation as well as worldwide. With the food distribution centers being destroyed, weather preventing crops from growing, or destroying them, to prices that are extremely high in stores and facing empty shelves. It is getting pretty obvious food shortages have begun and God has placed a burden on many of His children to take preventive measures through growing their own gardens, canning, preserving, and buying what they have been able to. But have we really thought about those items we have stored and what they are being store for and for who? I am being serious and going to be very bold and honest. Some and possibly all of it may not be for you or for your loved ones! Some of us have warned our children to prepare and have been laughed at, scoffed, and mocked. Other people you have warned and told to prepare either have or have not and even will say, well if it gets bad I know where I am going….It is approaching the time where things are going to get real, not only for those that have but for those who ignored, laughed and have not. What I mean is this, if you are a born again follower of Christ Jesus that provision He provided that He placed in your spirit to get is not just for you and pretty much will not be for your adult children that had more than enough ability to stock up but instead squandered their money and made fun of you. If they have ridiculed your faith and possibly even ostracized you for your beliefs, I do not believe God has had you store up for them to eat and continue in their selfish sinful ways. Are you prepared to give to those who God sends and deny your own flesh and blood if He says not to give to them? Are you prepared to give your last morsel of bread to a stranger and not to your own child? Oh, but you say God would not do that!!! I say to you God has, and He will do it again. Do you love God more than your child? More than your parents? More than your spouse? God will prove you I guarantee you that.Do you have enough faith, trust, and love, for Almighty God who you say you will serve no matter what? The day is coming you will be tested know who you serve and why make sure it is for the right reasons. Read the following historical truth of how God had a widow with a son, give to a prophet her last bit of food that was for her and her son.Can you do the same thing if asked? ~~~~
1 Kings 17:9Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I haue commaunded a widow woman there to sustaine thee.10So he arose, and went to Zarephath: and when he came to the gate of the citie, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of stickes: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessell, that I may drinke.11And as shee was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring mee, I pray thee, a morsell of bread in thine hand.12And she said, As the Lord thy God liueth, I haue not a cake, but an handfull of meale in a barrell, and a little oyle in a cruse: and behold, I am gathering two stickes, that I may goe in, and dresse it for me and my sonne, that we may eate it, and die.13And Eliiah said vnto her, Feare not, goe, and doe as thou hast said: but make mee thereof a little cake first, and bring it vnto mee, and after make for thee, and for thy sonne.14For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrell of meale shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oile faile, vntill the day that the Lord sendeth raine vpon the earth.15And shee went, and did according to the saying of Eliiah: and she, and he, and her house did eate many dayes.16And the barrell of meale wasted not, neither did the cruse of oyle faile, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Eliiah.
~~~After she obeyed her son got sick and died.~~~
17¶ And it came to passe after these things, that the sonne of the woman, the mistresse of the house, fell sicke, and his sickenesse was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.18And shee sayd vnto Eliiah, What haue I to doe with thee? O thou man of God! Art thou come vnto me to call my sinne to remembrance, and to slay my sonne?19And he said vnto her, Giue me thy sonne. And he tooke him out of her bosome, and caried him vp into a loft, where he abode, and laide him vpon his owne bed.20And hee cried vnto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought euill vpon the widow, with whom I soiourne, by slaying her sonne?21And he stretched himselfe vpon the child three times, and cried vnto the Lord, and said; O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this childes soule come into him againe.22And the Lord heard the voice of Eliiah, and the soule of the child came into him againe, and he reuiued.23And Eliiah tooke the childe, and brought him downe out of the chamber into the house, and deliuered him vnto his mother: and Eliiah said, See, thy sonne liueth.24¶ And the woman said to Eliiah, Now by this I know, that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is trueth.
