This can only be speaking of the Roman Empire (what) and the Emperor/Ceasers (he)! Think about it, Apostle Paul had told them IN PERSON what it was but when writing he spoke in a veiled way in order not to bring unnecessary persecution on them by saying the Roman Empire and the Emperor/Ceasers.
Then he tells them what would be coming next would be more horrendous than ever and that wicked, the one whose working is after Satan, who will deceive many with all power, signs, and lying wonders! That whoever this person (s) will be will continue until Christ comes and destroys him!!!
They understood this, that is why those who knew prayed for the Roman empire to stay! Though the persecutions we’re great they realized that what was coming afterward was so much worse!
When an emperor dies, another is put in his place making him the emperor, the same for a king, when one dies another sits in his seat and becomes king. When a president is finished with his term another one is voted in and becomes president!
This is exactly what the Roman Papacy is (civil and religious kingdom)!! When one anti-Christ (Pope) dies ANOTHER COMES IN HIS PLACE!!! HE SITS IN THE SEAT OF SATAN, exalting himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God shewing himself he is God!!!
Please understand this and hear me clearly this is the office of the Pope and every single Pope that has sat in this office is ANTI-CHRIST!!!
The call him “holy Father” Pope means “Pappa”, he claims to be Christ on earth, he claims his word has more authority and is infallible above the written Word of God, he has changed times and seasons! Every leader, king, dictator, emperor,, president, etc (regardless of their religious beliefs!) go to the Vatican and bow their knee before him, kiss his ring and call him HOLY FATHER! He claims to have authority IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH! He claims to have the power to forgive sin, to prevent one from going to heaven and to remove one from hell!!! He claims that he and his priests can say a few words and change a wafer into Jesus’ body, soul, DIVINITY and all, he claims to turn wine into the TRUE BLOOD OF JESUS in sense every mass and communion taken he is recrucifying Jesus again when the Book of Hebrews tells us CHRIST DIED ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!! ONCE NOT EVERY MASS!! The bread represents His body the WORD OF GOD THE MANNA THAT CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN! The wine represents His blood, which is where we get our LIFE for life IS IN THE BLOOD that comes from the True Vine from Heaven!!! These two things are SYMBOLS THEY ARE NOT EVER TURNED INTO FLESH AND BLOOD FOR YOU TO CONSUME THAT IS AGAINST GODS WORD!!! YOU DO NOT EAT HUMAN FLESH NOR DRINK BLOOD!
The Pope is the lawless one, the wicked, the man of sin the son of perdition! And in my opinion I truly believe with all of my heart as Satan himself entered Judas he enters every single Pope that has ever sat in his seat! I do not believe Satan is sitting happily by watch a mere man get the worship he so desires but that he literally enters into that man and is worshipped that way, making that man the son of perdition as Judas Iscariot was called!
He is ANTICHRIST IN PLACE OF AND OPPOSED TO! He claims to do what the Holy Spirit was sent to do, he blasphemy the Holy Spirit! He says, Jesus is Christ and deceives MILLIONS!!! He says he is the embodiment of Christ on earth!!! He denies the Father and Son by MAKING HIMSELF BOTH!!! VICAR OF CHRIST IN LATIN LITERALLY AMOUNTS TO 666 I CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP! It is more than obvious yet so many have been sent a strong delusion believing this lie because they LOVE not the TRUTH! He promotes “Mary” as the MOTHER OF GOD! SHE WAS NOT! She was the earthly mother of GOD IN THE FLESH THE MAN CHRIST JESUS!!! BUT NOT GOD ALMIGHTY! She was a chosen vessel that found favor with God therefore she was blessed among women, absolutely! But,she is NOT THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN! SHE WAS NOT BORN SINLESS! She did not die a virgin! She knew she needed a Saviour, she knew she was a sinner, she had other children sons and daughters! And she US NOT OUR MEDIATOR!!! She in the grace awaiting resurrection like every single person that has died!!! She does not answer your prayers,she does not appear in the sky, she does not visit children in visions!!! She is dead and will not live again until the first resurrection!!
Constantine changed God’s Sabbath to SUNDAY to worship their god Helios the SUN! Jesus rose on the eve of Sunday not ON Sunday! He rose on the THIRD DAY AFTER BEING LAID IN THE TOMB THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS! HE DIED ON A WEDNESDAY (between the evenings 3pm is when the Passover lambs were killed) THE DAY BEFORE THE HIGH SABBATH (FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD A HOLY SABBATH!) He had ALREADY RISEN when the ladies came to the tomb!! He rose at the end of the weekly Sabbath!!! Exactly 72 hours later!!! On Saturday evening we would call it between the evenings!!! Is this important? Satan sure thought so that is why he had his minions change THE SABBATH! THINK PEOPLE PLEASE AND PRAY ABOUT THIS! IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR ETERNAL DESTINATION!
Jesus said if you love me you WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS! He also said He did NOT COME TO DO AWAY WITH THE COMMANDMENTS BUT TO FULFILL THEM AND THAT HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY BUT NOT EVEN ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE WILL PASS AWAY FROM THE LAW TILL ALL BE FULFILLED!!!
ALL WILL NOT BE FULFILLED UNTIL THE CONSUMMATION, UNTIL HE PUTS HIS ENEMY UNDER HIS FEET AND DEATH AND HELL IS THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE!!!
Who will overcome? Only those who who preserve with patience to the end keeping the commandments of God and faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12.
