1And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded. 2If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
21When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee. 22But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. 23That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
4When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. 5Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. 6Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Notice Paul uses the same words as Jesus when speaking about fornicators and adulterers. Not the same sexual sin two different sins.
And the following is what Jesus said immediately after talking about DIVORCE!

31It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
33Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne: 35Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
We are to keep our MARRIAGE VOWS that we spoke BEFORE GOD as we entered INTO A MARRIAGE COVENANT where GOD MADE US ONE no longer TWAIN!
God forgives past sin but He will not break past COVENANTS!
God is a covenant keeper and He expects us to do the same!
Read about Joshua when he made a covenant a wicked people the Gibeonites that deceived Joshua! He was not supposed make that covenant but he did! But they tricked him and God WOULD NOT LET JOSHUA BREAK THAT COVENANT! MADE HIM STICK TO IT!
340 years later king Saul who broke that covenant (read in 2 Samuel 21) what God does do when he decided to break that covenant! 340 YEARS AFTER THE DECEPTIVE COVENANT WAS MADE GOD STILL EXPECTED IT TO BE KEPT! AFTER 340 YEARS LATER! He sent a drought for 3 years!
Yet we think He has forgotten our covenant we made less than 30 years ago?
And we think He accepts us breaking the sacred marriage covenant that HE ORDAINED?!
Yet, He made Joshua keep his and 340 years later punished Israel for Saul breaking it? Then read what God told David to do. Sent him to the Gibeonites to see what the Gibeonites wanted done. this is what they said,
4And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you. 5And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel, 6Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.
After that God was satisfied!!!
God is very serious about covenant very serious and to actually believe He who created the marriage covenant, which gives us a picture of His Holy Son and His Holy Bride would allow it to be broken so easily or to even think He made ways out for us to break it is absolutely absurd! Actually down right treacherous to put God in that light!
If we cannot stay married to a spouse because of life threatening reasons, adultery, physical abuse to you or your children then divorce, be separate but DO NOT REMARRY!
JESUS SAID IT, APOSTLE PAUL REITERATED IT! He was taught by Jesus for 3 years on mount Ararat remember that!
We are to remain single as well, as a eunach (celibate) unless the spouse dies then we are released from that covenant.
That is the Word of God, not my opinion not my interpretation it is the Written Word of God!
